« There is a loud noise coming from the sanitary building, which is next to our tent. It is on in the evening, night and morning. It makes it hard to sleep. »

« We had a lovely break away. The area is hilly but it keeps you active. Lovely safe campsite with plenty of different accomodations and camping. Car parking outside or near your cabin was frustrating at times and a test for hill starts! Our onsite restaurant was lovely. Food excellent with vegan chef onsite but lots of variety. Thanks to Matilde for being super efficient. The local area and beaches are great and safe. We were recommended to visit Budda Eden which was so lovely and only 30 minutes drive. Great for any overcast weather days. A trip to Nazare also worth mentioning. Again fabulous beaches and sports pitches for variety. The only negative was size of the pool area. Slides were great for the kids but another pool would have been great as it got busy at times. The staff are lovely and friendly. We really enjoyed the coctails. More staff needed on busy nights as there seemed to ve no system catering for the restaurant and for walk ins to the bar. »

« Although giving prior warning to the site of the size of our motorhome the initial pitch given was not big enough - after 1hr of looking around we were put in a corner with no direct sunlight on a very uneven sloping pitch. »

« The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in restaurant and at the front desk. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our kids really enjoyed all the activities. We had a great time and highly recommend it »

« Ausstattung und Service sind sehr gut. Nicht gefallen hat uns, dass die Wege und Stellplätze überwiegend mit Asche belegt sind. Man trägt den Staub ins WoMo hinein. »

« Nice and clean toilets but dirty showers. The pool area was a bit shabby and the water in the big pool dirty. Also poo on the floor in the pool shower area. »

« We (family of 5, 3 kids under 8years old) have just returned from 10 days in Colina do Sol. The campsite is really well maintained, very tidy and easy to get around! We stayed in a 4 🌼🌼🌼🌼 comfort XL which was perfect for us with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen living area and large decking area. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls, pans, cutlery, utensils etc. but no tea towels I would recommend bringing 1 or 2, dishwasher was an added bonus. No oven but hob! Shower in bathroom had great pressure but we ran out of hot water once when we all showered. We used the communal showers which were really clean, hot and also had great pressure! We had fresh bed linen and towels when we arrived and they were more than enough for the 10 days. There are laundry facilities in the communal areas but it's €5 per wash and you need to have washing pods/powder. You can buy individual pods in mini market! The pool areas was lovely, plenty of deck chairs and we had no problem ever getting some together. The main pool was a lovely temp but the baby pool was unfortunately cold so we did not use it! The 4 slides were a great hit with our older kids! The indoor pool was lovely and warm however at times was packed with people! All bathrooms around the pool were very clean however slippy! The cafe/bar/restaurant was lovely with a varied menu and all food we had there was nice and plenty of options for kids. The mini market next to the restaurant was small but had all the essentials. The restaurant staff were nice however at times very busy so sometimes service was slow! There was a kids club but it wasn't very busy and there is an hourly timetable but they did not seem to really do it! There seemed to be a lack of organization to it. The playground beside kids club it is quite basic! An extra playground or two would be so beneficial!! The kids club staff were v nice and the mini disco in the evening was a big hit. There was some entertainment for adults in the evenings too! The mini golf club is very old and run down but in a nice shady area! The wild beach at the back of the camp is stunning and worth the visit but not suitable for swimming. Sao Martinho was approx 2kms from the campsite and is a beautiful town and so worth visiting esp for beach days! We walked there but little legs found it tiring! We would have loved a little shuttle bus/tram (like in other campsites) to get into town! It's almost impossible to get taxis in Sao Martinho. We visited Nazare 3 times and was worth the taxi journey (approx 20 mins in Uber taxi €20) It's a beautiful town, so many lovely restaurants and coffee shops and the beach was stunning! The only downside of our visit was despite there being a heatwave in Portugal, Colina do Sol is between mountains and was very overcast and misty some days and cold at night time. We didn't expect this or were prepared so would recommend bringing extra layers for evenings! Overall we had a lovely chilled 10 days and would highly recommend visiting the area! The campsite would benefit from upgrading in some areas but its worth the visit! »

« Very nice campsite, Parque de Campismo Colina Do Sol was one of the best campings that I was in. SPA area should be a little more controlled. Even if that makes it inaccessible but the experience will be much more pleasant. »

« A estadia foi fantastica bongalow perfeito lipeza 5 estrelas staff super prestativo atividades boas para interagir com a familia e outras pessoas...adoramos Os funcionários senpre atentos e prestáveis havia uma rampa de acesso a piscina que durante o primeiro dia algumas pessoas escorregaram sem haver acidentes mas no segundo dia essa rampa já estava forrada com relva. Restaurante com pratos bons com sabores diferentes que gostamos muito restaurante com muito movimento tivemos que reservar mesa no dia anterior. A melhorar gravilha e rampa acesso ao bongalow quase impossivel de subir com o carro e o facto de a gravilha fazer muito pó, mas vi todas as outras ruas estavam alcatroadas por isso acho que vai haver ali uma melhoria. Escorregas na piscina devia estar sempre alguém na torre a controlar as descidas para evitar acidentes e os escorregas faz doer o corpo na descida entre secções dos mesmos. Spa chão sempre com muita água acho que era bom de vez em quando passar um rodo para evitar quedas e as portas de vidro quando fechadas deviam ter um sinal o meu filho foi contra o vidro porque achou que era ali a saida ainda no spa deviam ser proibidos os saltos para a piscina pois num spa é suposto o relaxamento e para além de estar sempre muito cheio as crianças saltavam para a piscina do circuito de águas. Tivemos apenas 2 noites mas ficariamos muito mais porque gostamos muito. Voltaremos »

« Excellent site, seems to have undergone major refurbishment as facilities were excellent. Used shop (small stock), bar and restaurant (very good value and good food). Found staff to be very good and friendly. Sites needs further maturity in vegetation to provide better pitch screening. A second Chemical toilet would be a positive as the current one is under the motorhome drainage and inaccessible if another is using the motorhome services area. »
